Dr. Taylor Ficek

Dr. Taylor Ficek is a board-certified optometrist who specializes in comprehensive optometry including pediatrics, contact lenses, glaucoma and the diagnosis/management of other eye related diseases. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee where she graduated Cum Laude and was inducted into the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. In optometry school, Dr. Ficek was involved in Student Volunteers in Optometric Services to Humanity (SVOSH) where she was able to provide eyecare to those in need internationally. She completed her clinical training with an emphasis in refractive surgery and ocular disease in Atlanta. She is originally from Nebraska and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln with a Bachelors in Nutrition Sciences and Psychology. Dr. Ficek worked in the Athens area for multiple years prior to joining Georgia Center of Sight.
