Dr. Jing Dong

Dr. Dong specializes in no-needle, no-stitch cataract surgery. He also provides a full spectrum of eye care services, including the treatment of glaucoma...

Dr. Dong received his undergraduate degree at Nankai University in China and his medical degree at Tianjin Medical College . After completing a Ph.D. in Ocular Pharmacology, he went to the University of Louisville in Kentucky for an internship in Ophthalmology, Internal Medicine, and a residency in Ophthalmology. Dr. Dong received his fellowship training in Louisville at the Kentucky Lions Eye Center .

Dr. Dong specializes in no-needle, no-stitch cataract surgery. He also provides a full spectrum of eye care services, including the treatment of glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease as well as oculoplastic, and strabismus surgery.

Dr. Dong is an active member of the medical community, contributing a significant amount of time to professional Ophthalmology organizations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the Association of Research in Visual Science and Ophthalmology, and the Georgia Academy of Ophthalmology.


Dr. Lauren Hacker

Dr. Lauren Hacker grew up in Valdosta, GA and received her B.S. degree from Valdosta State University in her hometown.  Dr. Hacker graduated from the Nova Southeastern School of Optometry in 2009 and completed a residency at the Columbia, SC Dorn Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Primary Care/Ocular Disease and Low Vision.  She has recently joined Georgia Center for Sight’s newest location in Greensboro.

 

 

 

 

 

 


Dr. Paul Seay

Dr. Paul Seay has called Hartwell home for many years. Working for Dr. E.S. Saliba after school during his senior year in high school helped confirm his desire to become an Optometrist. He graduated from Hart County High School in 1975. He attended Georgia Southern College, majoring in Psychology and graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree. He then attended the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tn. Dr. Seay has over 26 years experience in the practice of Optometry.

Clear View Surgery Center opened in January 2007. In this center we perform cataract surgery, lid surgeries and pterygium removals with the latest ophthalmic technology.

Cataract patients now have an option to see at both near and far distances after cataract surgery! Individuals suffering from cataracts previously had only a mono-focal lens implant option after surgery. NEW multi-focal IOL technology can now decrease dependence on glasses after surgery.
